I got a text and email from Capital One yesterday saying they detected fraudulent use of my credit card. They asked if I attempted to make a purchase on Facebook for $2.00. When I replied NO, they shut the card down. I should receive a new card in 4-6 days. Its great that they were on top of things, but my phone bill is set up for automatic payments from that card and my bill is coming soon. What a pain in the ass. But I'll give Capital One credit, this is the third time since having the card that its been hacked and they've always be right on top of it immediately.
My credit card got hacked again....

That seems to be the only logical explanation. I'm in the process of changing all my auto-payment methods away from that card until it all gets sorted out.Comment

I think you nailed it Gimpy I agree with you. These frigging companies keep getting hacked I get notices once a week from my credit security watch company saying company 'X' has been compromised.
Hell I get hacked so much down here in the boiler room capitol of the country Florida the CC companies call and ask me why I have not been hacked this week.

Snake the A holes do $2.00 to see if it will clear. Big money people using their cards or business folks don't usually check the statements they just pay it. After the initial charge they want to keep slamming your card. Last I read abut the scams I think? it was England was getting hit for mega millions. Were not far behind.
This is why were getting hit with super large interest rates us honest people suffer. The CC card people are greedy also but the thieves don't help.Comment
