Texas police department shut down after arresting mom over dirty water Facebook post

The investigation into the department was triggered after Jennifer Combs was arrested for felony false alarm or report and tossed in jail for a night in May following a Facebook post alleging that bacteria in Trinidad’s water pipes had hospitalized residents.

Separately, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality found issues with Trinidad’s water supply — the very concern Combs had raised — which city officials have since promised to address.

That is kind of funny actually.. Sorry..
In central Fla. here we can send a sample of water to our local agriculture dept. for test. Common practice as lots of people here have wells. So couple of ladies for the hell of it send in their own city water for sampling. Holy sheeeet they wanted to know where the ladies got the water you should not even wash your dog with..
The SHTF at the local city water facility heads rolled law suits began and like the Texas incident what a frigging mess it started. Apparently they were getting the water from local canals and well not doing a real good job of purifying it. Lot of people had septic systems not to ruin you dinner now.

What's she complaining about? A couple of iodine tablets and that water will be just fine. Tell her Tim.

No bud I only saw those tabs in A.I.T. Ft. Polk. Quick talk to about their purpose and use that was it. Essentially they were life or death necessary. Then it was off to the mountains and literally no water cept for rain and water choppered in. Think I saw a 1/2 dozen extremally small rice paddies my whole tour? We always had water on re-supply like always just like food and ammo.
Monsoons also brought us plenty of H20.. You remember them like all the water one could ever want..
