I heard from an 78 year old democrat mechanic that he heard (probably on CNN) that the gubment and evil Trump are going to cut SS benefits. I laughed and said, you know I have heard this my entire life and it isn't going to happen. If I had no idea what was going on, if I heard that I would immediately know an election is coming up. The left has used this trope along with, the Republicans are starving children, killing old people by cutting their socialist benefits, banning birth control and hanging black people ever single election cycle. Its like when they parade out the videos of turkey fryers catching fire on Thanksgiving, dangerous toys at Christmas, and "historical" Jesus documentaries at Easter. Same tiered playbook that works every single time.

Italy? not now... She's doing well,, we've had it before, me three times already. She says she may go into her office later and lock herself in. There was a large Mexican independence festival at the college over the weekend and she had to be there and greet all these mehican dignitaries that came, the college president had to be someplace else, so maybe that's where she got it from. Mexican Covid. It comes with a big hat and a bottle of tequila.

She's doing very well, one day with sore throat, some body aches, that's about it. I have shown no symptoms yet and we sleep on the same bed. Covid is just a common cold now but the kids are staying away, girl is a nurse, she can't catch it, oldest has a very demanding new job as college VP and the other guy never comes around on weekends, he goes to the house in the FLorida Keys, he came by Wednesday...with about 20 lobster tails.
