Pickpockets and petty crime? Hell we had warnings back in the 1970s when I was heading over. Italian pickpockets were the best in the world. They could pick your wallet take the cash and cards out and put it back in your pocket without you knowing. Those boys were good.

Yeah I don't know what the hell happened Italy was full of ancient historic sites beautiful countryside good food people and along came the sand niqqers. This P.M. is trying to rid them but my guess is they hooked up with the mafia to make the big $$ and they ain't leaving.
The sand niqqers hate Christians we know but they also want anything ancient associated with them gone. They may start blowing things up??

Italy is fine, they have an abundance of police, state, local and military roaming the streets, Europeans are always on high alert. While in Paris a few years ago at the Sacred Heart Church there were two muslims women wearing hijabs (or whatever it's called) and two well armed military guys came up to them and chased them out, I heard like an argument but they had to leave the area, I don't speak French so I don't know what was said.

In Rome the area to the entrance to the Vatican is very well guarded by the military 24 hours a day and national monuments, fountains, etc always have cops stationed there

I'm telling you, that's why I like Italy so much, those guys knew how to get things done. The Roman aqueduct built in Segovia, Spain was in used until 50 years ago. They had plumbing pipes made of lead to bring hot water to their baths, that's why all the rich folks wound up crazy with all that lead in their system, but the idea was good. Remember they could fill the Colosseum with water to do their ship battles and get it empty in minutes. Their theory was in order to have a city you have to have water and water they delivered to all the places they conquered. There are remains of their work as far as England.

Sea water in harbors built by the Romans were lasting a thousand years. The sea walls built in modern times started wearing down almost right after they built them? They wondered why? Diagnosing them they found volcano dust mixed in their walls when they were mixing up the concrete. Whatever was in the volcano lava kept the salt water from eroding their walls. Ancient sea walls are still in use.

In 1985 I traveled with two friends to England for two days then to the continent. France was first.. Napoleon's tomb, the Eifel Tower, the cathedral of our lady... If God has a home on Earth...that's it. The massively huge stained glass...I could have stood for hours in sheer awe. We were traveling with backpacks and those could not be inside. House rules. We took turns going inside with someone outside to guard our rucks.
the hand craftsmanship was everywhere. The Gothic architecture sucked at my mind. There is nothing like it in it's majesty in the USA or in its detail. As we were getting ready to go to the Eifel tower and I was fuckinv around trying to slip my left arm into my rucks shoulder strap...there was a helping hand from behind. I turned for a thank you....it was Quasimodo, a hunchback in a brown friars hooded smock. He nodded and went inside. We were all shocked and dumbfounded. I'll always remember that.

Then....years later the mosloms burned it down and danced in the streets.

Notre Dame, I got to see it before the fire, amazing place, built long before America was even found. Another amazing place is Westminster Abby, 1000 years old, kings were buried there before America was discovered. We are a very, very young country still.
