    Things in my mind

Things in my mind have a way to come back to me in my sleep. Last night I remembered a truck driver I had.

Stupidest person I've ever seen in my life. I had just lost the guy that was with me forever and this guy was being let go by the business next door so I asked him if he can lift stuff, drive a truck, and just do all around help in the shop,, "Oh sure"....Alright, I gave him a job, mainly driving a Mitsubishi truck doing pick ups and deliveries to and from stores of electronic merchandise that needed refurbishing. Naim Pacha was his name, a Cuban born Arab, Christian, married, a very soft spoken guy but dumb as shit. The type who would not watch TV shows where girls appeared in short shorts or bathing suits because the flesh was weak he said. One day he stops at a red light with a truck full of stuff and his right foot itched, so he took it off the brake to scratch it...running into the car in front of him carrying a young woman and a child.....well, thank to my insurance company everything worked out OK. Then one day he says he got hurt picking up merchandise and his back was out, he needed a week, I gave him a week, he came back "I cannot drive a truck, my back is really bad" SO I let him go, go find another job, you got hired on that condition, you can't do it so you're done here. Then he shows up a few months later asking me to sign some papers so they can get Free food and SS benefits for him and his wife who was Puerto Rican and claimed she was sick and could not work, I threw him out and told him to get a job. Never saw him again.

    I don't hear voices yet....don't worry.
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.

Over the years I have worked with some very low IQ people. You'd think it was the Downs Syndrome guy, but it wasn't. The dude literally had a sixth sense and would pick up on things I'd miss completely.

One of the stupidest I personally encountered was a US Army E7. He had been stealing from his government credit card for years. He may have gotten away with it had he not started wearing medals he hadn't earned: some sort of scuba certification, ranger tab, airborne wings, combat infantry badge (even though he'd never been in the infantry). He immediately popped up on the radar, and people started asking questions.

Long story short... He was dishonorably discharged just months before he was set to retire. I had the honor of processing him out of the Army on his very last day. Even then, he still thought he was in the special forces. He didn't grasp the magnitude of what just happened
