Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Saturday that social media companies must moderate content on their platforms or else "we lose total control." Clinton told CNN host Michael Smerconish that while there have been some steps taken at the state level to regulate social media, she wants to see more done by the federal government to moderate content.

She wants the little people to shut up and pay their taxes..

Agreed. Think about all the ridiculous controls and rules that are imposed on us now. Examples in my neck of the woods:

1. If I want to canoe on a local river during the Summer, I have to go online and buy a permit.
2. I'm rebuilding an old shed this week and am supposed to get a land use permit and pay $40. (I'm not.)
3. I'm required to have a dog permit for my dogs. Why?
