Starbucks just paid Florida One Million Dollars in fines for violating Civil Rights Laws.

NOt what you all think. Read below.

"Every Floridian deserves to be hired, promoted and compensated based on merit, qualifications and character — not race or sex," Uthmeier told Fox News Digital. "This resolution ensures that Starbucks’ policies and practices fully comply with Florida’s civil rights laws. DEI can never be an excuse to violate civil rights."

The negotiated resolution ends the lawsuit Uthmeier filed in December 2025 accusing Starbucks of violating the Florida Civil Rights Act through racial and sex-based goals, quotas and preferences in its workplace policies.

Yep. I was thinking just the opposite; that Starbucks needed to hire more Black, Muslim, female, disabled people. Instead; Florida's laws appear to be doing what we all know is right: hiring people based on merit alone. DEI is being crushed, and I love it.

Now not to single out negroes their are White D.E.I. hires out their also but? Their were stories that one of the pilots from the recent plane that went off the end of the runway? The co-pilot was not even qualified to clean toilets on the damn plane and they had him up front on the steering wheel.. D.E.I. hire saving money pleasing the left wingers..

Practically every Starbucks I've had the displeasure of being close to, with one pleasant exception, has had a fag behind the counter. The exception was in JFK Terminal 2 in 2012. It was a happy, polite nigrette.

From the perspective of a customer, I don't care what type of people an establishment hires. I just want friendly, efficient, and competent service. If the entire organization serving me consists of Black, female, bull dykes, and they perform at or above my expectations; I'm perfectly fine with that. More often than not, when I encounter a business with a heavy minority population, I'm normally disappointed and take my business somewhere else.

Their coffee taste like it is brewed in a dirty ashtray but man will it jack you up if you are tired. One day, many hears ago, I walked into a SB and was second in line. This incredibly enchanting woman behind the counter locked eyes with me and I was instantly paralyzed. I actually could not speak or move for a few seconds. But alas I am old and she was young with pink streaks in her blond hair (I know very weird not usually into that kind of thing) and I am married but that type of thing has only happened to me maybe two or three times in my life. I am sure she was bat shit but boy something about her really got to me. Maybe we knew each other in a past life or something but it was very ethereal. I still remember it like it was yesterday.

That "star strike" thing happened to my cousin. a famous architect before he was famous and was teaching a class at Broward college, she was a student ten years younger so he never said a thing, years later they ran into each other again..they have been married for 46 years.

My daughter is a regular at SB, she stops at one on the way to the clinic every morning and buys some concoction that has coffee in it same as my oldest son. they put so much crap in it you don't taste the coffee.

I ran into a girl during covid in Cabela's. Literally came around the corner and we almost walked into each other. We were the only ones in the store not wearing a mask. She had black hair, fair skin and brilliant blue eyes. When she saw I didn't have a mask on, she gave me the biggest smile and I told her that I guess we were the only ones in the store not afraid to hide our smiles. At that, she blushed. She was probably 20 years younger than me, and I was and am still quite happily married......but in another life, who knows?

I would love to know the physiological biological reason why this happens. What is odd is seeing beautiful women does not do anything for me in that way. This is totally different as you clearly know since you did not forget your encounter either. The musician James Blunt wrote a song "You're Beautiful" which is about this very thing.
