As someone who has huge respect for Secretary Hegseth, I think the televised execution is a bridge too far. I'm perfectly OK with executing him. Televising it is where I think we're making a mistake. It serves no purpose.

You and I are in violent agreement. Televising the execution, even if critical parts are blurred, puts us on par with 3rd world culture. We don't want to be like them.

If Hegseth goes through with it, I still respect the man. I just think he's making a mistake. Sometimes I wish I could have 5 minutes alone with some of our decision makers, just to explain possible downstream effects of what they're planning to do. I could tell them things their respective staff officers are afraid to.
