    ATF Changed ruling in Supressors.

You can now buy them just like you buy a regular gun, no stamp, no waiting.

O.K. now I am not a machinist but how the hell hard is it to take a metal tube and put some metal discs in it??? Guys were making suppressors out of Mag Light frigging flashlights. Check the prices they are already coming way the hell down. I bought a suppressor last year and between using the Kiosk and the paperwork 'no tax' it was a tad bit confusing. Mom always said I was not to frigging bright.
Now I don't speak lawyer but this is saying we just go to a shop fill out the form get a background check and pick up our suppressor?????? Talk about some dumb sheet making a gun quieter and we have to take a lie detector test and get checked by the Nat. Security Agency?? WTF over they should have done this years ago. Our member Eric here in Norway does just that. Think he is a Federal police officer for Norway??
Suppressors are encouraged in Norway so as not to disturb the neighbors when hunting he claimed.

With quantity sales the price should go down. And new manufacturers will probably start up.

Retvet my guess is the prices were high due to the wait and pain in the ass to purchase a suppressor??? Sales of them will go through the roof if just buying in your local fun shop and a background check is all that is needed. This will create volume sales for manufactures making profit from that instead of limited sales causing high prices to stay afloat.
I hope I am reading that correctly?????????

This ruling is a huge step in the right direction, but how will it affect me personally? Not that much. I actually prefer longer barrels and don't have a need for a suppressor. If the price is right, I might pick up a short shotgun barrel just for fun, but that's about it.
