That's the man, Barth Green. The nurses freaked out when they saw him there looking at my son.
First hospital my son went to said he was having a heart attack, my son looked at his blood work and told them "I have an infection somewhere, please look for it" No, for two days they did everything to his heart until he got fed up and left. Got to the second hospital and was told he had cancer on the spine, they ran a biopsy and right after he became paraplegic, they opened his back up and could not find a tumor, they closed him up and told him "we don't know what you had and we don't know if you're going to walk again so stay in bed a few months and let's see what happens" That's when my wife went ballistic and started making phone calls, by the next day he was at Jackson and in two days Dr Levi had him open again, it was an abscess next to the spine, it broke two vertebrae and he needed two rods and twelve screws holding everything together, antibiotics for life and started therapy. about a month later he was sent home and told to come for therapy twice a week, they were not doing much. We heard of this Cuban guy who is a therapist and had done miracles with a couple of people so we got him, I paid him to come every day, I had a couple of parallel bars made and installed them on the deck and the guy had me build a three step staircase during the process. That son of a gun had my son walking and going up the stairs at his home (he was living with us during that time). It took a few months but he did it. He still has backaches once in a while but he can walk and even danced with his sister at her wedding.
