    Did you know....

...that 85% of all federal employees work from home and are required to be in the office ONLY ONE DAY PER MONTH? Most also have second full time job. I heard that on the radio today.

Looks like Elon Musk is going to have to do the same thing he did at Twitter when he purchased it. Fire or lay off @75% of the "workforce," while improving efficiency 100%. Dumping all the purple haired loons and LGBTGFR freaks and reasigning thousands to work in cornfields in S.D.

Doesn’t surprise me at all, along with all the other shit happening over past 4 years. Although there is a light at the end of this long tunnel, it is very dim.

I believe the majority of the people supposedly working from home aren't doing much beyond the minimum to squeeze by and their supervisors know it, but turn a blind eye because they are pulling the same shit.

Fire the lot. Besides, what the hell do we need that many people doing mostly shuffling of paperwork.

That's a lot of under utilized, or non-utilized prime office space, too. I hope Elon has the power to sell off those unused Federal buildings. Or, revitalize them into Veteran's housing.

Covid created the increase in work from home. More and more place that can do this. One of my neighbors kid had a business everyone works from home including him. Then they all get to write off their home offices.

My V.A. doctor among many works from home she is the V.A director of Pharmacy for pain management. I just had a video appointment with her and she did it from her home. I was wondering why I never ever saw her at our V.A. clinic before?? Now she has assistants who I would guess work from their private residences? Hell their just a phone call away.
So her assistant her assistants assistants are working from home? Your a veteran reading this? Did you know Veterans can't call these people? Don't believe? Call ANY dept. in the V.A. you get a recording "Were NOT in the office we will return your call leave a message."
Message- 'If this is and emergency call 911. Otherwise leave a message we will get back to you"
Our Clinic is getting a bit dirty. Well hell I bet the janitor and his assistants are even working from home? They show up once a month to sweep the damn floors.

A lot of people are taking advantage of "Work from Home" rules...or lack thereof.
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.
