I don’t necessarily disagree with you when it comes to the lack of wisdom behind the decision, but with that said, what is the difference compared to Russia using Iranian, Chinese and North Korean weapon systems against Ukraine? Apparently (apparently because who the fuck knows what’s correct or not in these disinformation days) Ukraine has so far used them solely against military targets, while the Russians have continuously used their systems against civilian targets. Putin has said long range weapons reaching into Russia is a red line etc, but that is a tactic he’s used all along to keep Ukraine fighting with one hand tied behind their back.

FWIW, the Brit’s have given Ukraine their Storm Shadow system, which they have now also used against Russia. The Brit system has a range of 250km, while the ATACMS have a range of 300km. Neither pose a threat to Moscow due to their limited range, which I presume is intentional from the donators.

I recall, that in the week I left home to begin my military service the First Air Cavalry division took @750 casualties, IIRC. I think then, it was verboten for the MSM/Pravda to show GI's coffins being flown home by the C-141, cargo plane loads. The dimokrats have always had a nack for starting or entering a war...with absolutely no intention of winning one since WW2. Killing off our best is a game the communists here learned quite well in Korea and have honed that experience into what it has become today. The 'krats don't know how to win one...but they are great at starting wars and killing off our best.
