Who the Hell loaned $20,000,000.00 to a failing campaign that had already blown through $1,000,000,000.00 in just 120 days? A campaign is, by it's nature, a temporary thing. It was always going to cease to be a thing by January 2025, win or lose. What bank, what under-writter thought "Yea, they'll pay this back!"? What earning potential did the campaign realistically have by late October? Even if there were people foolish enough to donate money it's not like the campaign would use it to pay back the loan. Any money coming in was going to be blown on celebrity endorsements and jet fuel.

That billion, except for the usual campaign posters, lefty, Hollyweird celebrity endorsements, etc., and a few tv... "vote for me" adds, and outright bribes, the cash was pocketed and sent to offshore accounts or laundered through fake shell companys.
All of which...is just how it is... inside the beltway and feeding the swamp creatures.
