I hope everyone survived Thanksgiving day 2024

Had an uneventful day lots of leftovers, My wife cooked the most delicious turkey to date along with everything that goes with it, celebrated my daughter's birthday(one day late) and everybody was happy. It was just us , kids and grand kids, no external family to spoil the day, don't need the aggravations with my asshole brother in law and his crazy wife even if they live across the street.

Oh yeah 90 days since my open heart surgery and I'm still alive!
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.

That's funny. Not only do we share a birthday; but your daughter and my mother share one as well.

That's always something to be thankful for.
Though not open heart, I was happy to celebrate another Thanksgiving with my family after my heart surgery also.

I was hoping for more despair and sense of total desperation. In laws were civilized and somewhat normal...

You have to be kidding, 365 days a year we share birthdays and so do my daughter and your mom, that is one hell of a coincidence.

Just got home. Got to see all my sister's kids and grandkids, except the one who moved to Seattle and drank the kool-aid. He didn't come because he didn't want to see us gloating about Trump winning. Must be a miserable existence to be a liberal. That boy was raised right, but college messed him up. We all had a good time in spite of his misery.
