Up here in North Florida, we only got 2" of rain & enough wind to blow over some more trees out of the rain soaked ground. Power never went out, but did blink a few times. Helene was far worse.
My stupid neighbor who thinks he is the neighborhood HOA chief, had a few dozen trees pushed over or snapped off by the wind. Do you think anybody went to help him, nope, not a one. We have had all enough of the crap from him & his stupid damn Yankee wife we can stand. This is a rural area & there are no HOA neighborhoods within 25 miles or more.
The rest of the neighbors do help with tree removal & anything else that might need doing to keep things comfortable out here.
