UnitedHealthcare CEO fatally shot

The CEO of UnitedHealth’s insurance division was gunned down Wednesday morning outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown in what police say was a targeted attack.

Brian Thompson, 50, was at the hotel around 6:46 a.m., arriving early for a conference, when a masked man allegedly waiting for him fired at him repeatedly and fled eastbound off 6th Avenue, police sources told The Post.

Suppressor's are pretty commonplace these days. A pro would have shot from a distance with a suppressed rifle. Up close is more personal. If I was to want to wack some one with a suppressed pistol I'd use a .45 acp that is basically subsonic to begin with. While my B&T Station Six suppressed 9mm is a very quiet gun I'd still use a .45.

The CEO was being investigated for insider trading I saw on TV. Not that the guy was waxed over that; plenty of people nowadays hate the big insurance corporations with a passion.

Guy probably watched his poor sweet granny, mother, child or wife slowly die from cancer or some other disease because UH refused to pay for the absurd over priced drug or procedure and this guy got revenge. You see when you go around fucking people over one day you will cross that guy who does not like being fucked over and takes matters into his own hands. If more of this happened society would be much more civil.

I have health insurance with UHC, I had all sort of tests and scans done and heart bypass along with an Aortic valve replacement, one week in the hospital, one day in ICU, subsequent doctor’s visits and tests done. I haven’t paid a dime yet. Yes I pay a good piece of change every month but they got me covered 100%
