Assad's ouster could be a good thing. I'm cautiously optimistic. As for US presence there, we need to be out. Nothing good can come of maintaining US bases there.

My time serving in Iraq taught me that there are no innocent parties over there. It's all bad guys, the opportunists, the self-serving, and the evil.

Concerning Christians who may suffer under a new government, it's not our problem. We shouldn't make it ours. Like I said, there are no good guys over there; not even the Christians.
