violence , some lessons have been learned .

IN AN ALTERCATION OUT IN THE WORLD, NO MATTER HOW
SMALL YOU THINK IT IS , IT MAY ESCALATE QUICKLY INTO YOU
KILLING SOMEONE OR YOU BEING KILLED .

Jordan Neely had 40 plus arrests for violent crimes .
His number just came up .
He initiated an incident that ended in his death .

Daniel Penny got involved and it escalated into him
killing someone and on trial for his life .

If i was there , i would have done a Forrest Boundarant,
tapped him on the shoulder , and told him that's enough .
Let him go . Granted, i am so accustomed to violence
that i would react the same as eating a slice of pizza .

I have choked out enough people that you would need a
calculator to add them up .
People have said , "Merc , remember the time you choked
out that crazy drunk guy on Flatbush Ave that everyone
was afraid of ?

I answered , "Oh yeah." When in fact , i didnt recall the
incident at all .

My point is every person I have choked out or knocked
out remained alive ( Granted , there was the one guy ,
about 6 years at a private event in Union Square ,
who was some jail house 6 ft 8 inch guy that took 40
minutes to get up and a few bottles of water poured
on him to wake him up . I thought he was dead .
i only hit him once in self defense and i saw a
manslaughter trial flash before me )

Penny didn't need to choked him out for 6 minutes .
I understand perfectly that he was all pumped up
with the situation . That is why he needed a
Forrest Boundarant type to tap him on the shoulder
and bring him back to Earth .

Neely then would have lived, but unable to rob ,
hurt , or kill someone .
Penny's name would have never been known.
You're better off that way

Penny could have done hard prison time in some
hard ass prison like Sing Sing or Attica for the
death of some useless, violent burden of the city

Neely's father , who didn't give a shit about his son
when he was alive , can go fuck himself

Your experience in these matters suggests that the best course of action in dealing with lunatics is to simply move away. Gain distance. Gain time. Let them come to you. Let them make the decision for you.
