Drone crashes into NJ homeowner’s backyard

The aircraft smashed down in a residential area of Pequannock Township in Morris County around 8:45 p.m. Thursday, according to police and dispatch audio

Officials determined the craft was “a hobby or toy type of drone” and “not a large commercial or military grade drone,” the Pequannock Police Department told The Post.

Probably most of them are hobby drones. When you see somrthing in the sky you can't tell how big it is.

Look we have the technology to take them down, but just like the Chinese balloon, everybody is afraid to take actions without a mandate. I told you guys my son flew one close to a Navy communications base in South Miami which is next to the zoo ( he was getting a movie of the zoo for his school) and the drone just stopped responding and landed by itself, so it's all a lot of BS and we know who's doing it.

FBI probing drone collision with firefighting aircraft in LA fire

"The aircraft, commonly referred to as a 'super scooper,' was conducting fire suppression operations at the Palisades Fire near Malibu, California, and was able to land safely," according to an FBI statement.
