Why did it go down? If you cant say I understand.
So what happened to the Bunker?

The bunker software crashed. And the backups failed. I was relying on the servers backups because they back it up daily. The last backup I had made was 4 years old.
And our software was getting long in the tooth. I figured we would be better off buying the latest software. I discussed this with Aviator and he agreed. So, here we are.
I added some additional security but won't discuss that.We have met the enemy and he is us.

There is about to be a national election .
The overwhelming majority of the membership
does not support the Communist Revolution nor
vote Democrat .
Disagreeing with the DNC is verboten .
Ask Mayor Eric Adams .
Magically , the forum , crashed , burn and got
virus'ed into oblivion . You can bet we will be
vaporized again before election day
Journey well ,

I wonder if it was an inside job. Not to get too tinfoil hat but we did have a certain member who was very outspoken about his hatred of Trump. We also had a certain member that disappeared for a while then came back and not long after the crash. It would be easy to hack the site if someone gave away their password when coerced by the authorities to do so or out of malice.Comment

No, I don't think so. I think I know who you are referring to. He didn't have the capability. The software was 18 years old. We had been getting software errors for quite a while. It's like an old phone or an old computer, errors accumulate. We have met the enemy and he is us.

Makes it sound like you're a government agency. I work for the D.O.T., doing Access Management. Until this May we had been using a program that was written in 1982. Our agency licensed it in 1990. We bought a program that was 8 years old and used it for the next 34 years. We had one guy who's only job was to keep it running. His qualifications? He just happened to take a computer class in High School on that particular programing language.
Now he works trying to make the new program work, because the thing we had custom made by a software firm out of India doesn't work for shit.Comment
