Hiring someone solely because of their race is a recipe for disaster. I've seen it in both the military and civilian sector. You can literally pick them out of a crowd. They're inept, lazy, unproductive and entitled. The worst part is that they're protected from accountability. Black females are (by far) the very worst. Whenever you see a Black female in any position of responsibility or authority, you can almost guarantee they were hired and promoted to fill a diversity quota, not because of their qualifications, performance or potential. I can cite dozens of examples from my past career, but won't bore you.

On the flip side, I don't see as much of a problem with Black males, especially older ones. In my experience, most of them are solid performers. In my county, for example; the very best deputy is a Black guy: smart, articulate and hard working. Whenever there was a job requiring brain power, he got tagged. No surprise that he just got promoted to lieutenant.
