2 Oregon men searching for Sasquatch found dead

WILLARD, Wash. – Two Oregon men searching for Sasquatch have been found dead after failing to return home on Christmas Eve.

The Skamania County Sheriff's Office in Washington state received a report around 1 a.m. on Christmas that the two Portland residents, aged 50 and 37, had not returned from their search.

I guess they found the sasquatch.

Probably a pair of dumb fucks from Portland, ill prepared for their adventure, likely hoping they could come up with something they could post on YouTube. We'll, they made news..... posthumously.

Idiots two ways. Probably went out with shorts and T shirts looking for the Squash. Why don't people just leave the poor guys alone? Old Squash probably sat back and watched those two poor guys die of hypothermia. I have seen his trail 'footprints' in the snow in Colorado but no damn way was I following that track.
Some friends wanted to start leaving food out for them but I said hell no. over 8 ft. tall covered in hair big tooths? Uh no way. Nope Squash ain't bothering me I ain't messing with thems.

They believed in Big Foot but didn't believe in warm clothes, a tent, and basic survival gear.

How did they die? Rocks, claws? Teeth? Maybe I missed that part?

There are many dangers out in the woods for campers and hikers. Here in Michigan, my greatest concern when looking for a camp site out in the boonies are dead trees and branches. Even on my own property, they're everywhere. Weather is always a concern, but the kinetic energy from a 200 year old black oak coming down deserves more respect. Weather is easier to deal with.

For the two deceased gentlemen, I think hypothermia got them. People underestimate their ability to deal with harsh weather and are ill prepared for unforseen events. Last month, I encountered a guy who had locked his keys in the car during a snow storm. He was dressed like he was going to the beach in August: clogs, shorts, light hoodie.

No kidding, being out in the woods on a windy day and hearing trees snapping and cracking and hoping the direction you picked to run is the right one is terrifying. 😨

The craziest thing is when they seem to fall for no reason. I've seen them come crashing down on a calm day.

Most of Michigan was logged about 130 years ago. That means that all the really big trees are about the same age and have reached the end of their lifespan. They're all dying at the same time. My property has some of the oldest trees in the county. I have a front-row seat to nature's fireworks.

About 4 years ago, we had a scare. My wife was doing some work under a giant black oak. She walked away to get something and when she returned, a gigantic limb was laying right were she was standing.
