President Biden announced he is commuting the death sentences of 37 federal inmates on Monday, leaving just three people on death row in federal prisons. The White House said the commuted sentences will be reclassified to life sentences without the possibility of parole.

In my opinion, these commutations don't amount to much. Most of these death row inmates never get executed anyhow. Commuting their sentences doesn't change anything. It's just a childish way for Biden to strike back at Trump.

Your most likely correct as keeping them on death row has to be more taxpayer 'security' expensive? I guess maybe? they now go into general population? Now they can play tennis have conjugal visits etc.. like the rest of the Fed prisoners.
Just kind of sucks for the families they hurt who wanted to watch them cook in Old Sparky.

I'm with you, Bro. I'd like to see them executed ASAP but unfortunately it never works out like that. They're more likely to die of old age than lethal injection. In any event, Biden's actions have no purpose other than to outrage people like you and me. I got a message for Biden. It ain't working.
