10-million-pound meat recall affects hundreds of products at Walmart, Target, Publix

A massive meat recall prompted by listeria concerns is affecting products in some of the most popular grocery stores across the U.S., including Walmart, Public, Target, Aldi, Amazon, Trader Joe's and more.

Pre-cooked meat producer BrucePac has released more information about the products impacted by its nearly 10 million-pound recall first announced by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Wednesday. Routine testing found evidence of listeria monocytogenes on BrucePac ready-to-eat poultry, which can cause a listeriosis infection if consumed.
A recall of nearly 10 million pounds of meat issued last week by BrucePac has affected brands like Dole and stores like Kroger across the U.S.

    Watch out Gentlemen.

Damn, I don’t think we have any of it but will check the freezer just in case

Wash the meat and fully cook it and wash your hands after handling the meat. Too many dirty people in the meat packing industry.
We have met the enemy and he is us.

What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some meats you just can't reach. So, we get what we had here today. What he wants, he gets. I don't like it any more than you.

What happens with they replace the mexicans with haitians and somalians, like they did in the meat packing plants in Amarillo, TX.

I remember as an apprentice when we ran big meat ads it blew my mind on just how much meat we went through in just one place. Cut a pallet of rounds into steals roast stew cutlets and ground beef by yourself in 8 hours and do the math.

I can vouch for the occasionally verbally abused ,,chipping out frozen water troughs in in below zero temperatures...among other things
