Affirmative action was actually very good to me. If I could have gotten a decent job in Illinois as a young man I might have stayed there & been married & divorced a bunch of times . Rather I dragged my young ass up an moved to Texas. I would have never met my wife, made the friends I did, hunted in Africa or owned machine guns. So I seen it as actually winning. I put up with Houston until I couldn't stand it anymore, made 4 times my money back on the house I owned & GTFO. Where I am now is really a good place. My shit is all paid for & life aint that bad. My only regreat is my wife is no longer with me.

My whole career I watched as unqualified Blacks were ushered forward, promoted and advanced, sometimes ahead of me. I watched them given a pass for poor behavior and performance. I kept my mouth shut and didn't voice the obvious to keep my job and my career.

The whole idea of tolerating Black underperformance has been ingrained in our culture for the past 50 or so years. We're off to an excellent start, but it's going to take years to root out this poison. There's actually a small, historically Black town here in Michigan that has a "Black chamber of commerce". I can't think of anything more racist than that.

Same here. I was told flat out once that a guy I recommended for advanced promotion was not selected because giving it to a black woman was needed to improve morale at the site she was stationed at. Total DEI bullshit and this was in the mid 90's.

It has been going on a long, long time. Back in the late 80's I was working briefly at my Dad's business; a personnel agency. As I was digging through files, I kept seeing the letters "EO" printed on some packets. I asked him what that was. He said "Equal Opportunity". Some employers insist on a Black applicant. The letters "EO" on the packets make it easier to screen for them.

As a young Army 1LT, I ran afoul of a Black, female captain who held some do-nothing position on the brigade staff. She was overweight, mouthy, incompetent and rude. She literally had no redeeming qualities. The command group was, nevertheless, stuck with her and none of them had the guts to fight it. She could do no wrong. Funny thing is.... You'd never see this pig in the field. She'd always be in garrison. I don't think she ever got her boots dirty.

As a seasoned LTC commanding a battalion, I was accused of discrimination. An investigating officer from the Pentagon was sent to check me out. The pig that showed up was an obese, Black, female piece of shit who spoke in broken Ebonics. I phoned my brigade commander and started out the conversation.... "Sir... Do you have any idea what sort of fat pig they sent to investigate me?" He laughed and said something like "Yeah. We've seen her before. No worries. You'll be fine." In the end, I won. Thanks to my good soldiers, NCOs and officers.

After leaving the Army, I worked for one large fortune 500 company. There were places in the building I simply refused to go. These places were 100% Black and the company wouldn't let me discipline or fire them. I told my supervisor... "Fine. I won't go there any more. From this point forward, it won't be my problem. It's your problem. Good luck and let me know how that works out for you." Amazingly, they didn't fire me. They still needed hard-working White male managers. I ended up quitting a few months later.

At another civilian company I notice there was a Black female manager that would show up maybe a couple times a month, issue a bunch of directives and then disappear for days or even weeks. I confronted her. In the end I lost. They dumped me and kept her.
