O.K. I am not a lawyer and I don't know how guys finish law school it is confusing as all hell. But is income tax illegal? Our forefathers knew we had to have taxes to survive as a nation. But? They did not want taxes on the poor working stiff they wanted taxes on 'profits' the poor guy made. You labored all week you got paid they did not want to tax that they wanted to tax that piece of land you 'rented' and made a profit from.
So is income tax illegal and legal? Yes and no as the constitution was ratified since that decision. The lawyers can take over.
