Pentagon pulling Gen. Milley's security detail and clearance 'immediately,' may face

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will announce he is "immediately pulling" retired Gen. Mark Milley's personal security detail and security clearance, multiple senior administration officials tell Fox News.

The secretary is also directing the new acting Inspector General to conduct a review board to determine if enough evidence exists for Gen. Milley to be stripped of a star in retirement based on his actions to "undermine the chain of command" during President Donald Trump's first term, officials say.

The Pentagon will also be removing a second portrait of Gen. Milley inside the Pentagon.

I don't know if its normal procedure for Generals to be getting security details? I guess he may have been getting death threats from the ISIS??

He kept the nuclear codes away from Trump and took it on his own to deal with the enemy. Off with his head!

You don't bad mouth the CINC in public, to a reporter/writer no less, and think you're not going to get some push back.

General officers never fully "retire". They're always on a sort of "retainer" and are called upon from time to time to assist in various tasks. I used to see groups of them attend various training exercises and briefings. They were respectfully known as the "grey beards". My interactions with them was always very positive. It was one of the few times a young lieutenant could stand in front of a group of generals and give a briefing.

By removing Milley's security clearance, he's effectively dead in the water for any future "grey beards" committees or just about any other mission. Unless they need someone to sample food temperatures at the dining facility, he's toast.

They never thought he was coming back, now it's payback time.
