The depth of this scandal caught all of us here flat-footed. We all knew there was waste, fraud and abuse, but none of us could predict the sheer magnitude. I certainly didn't. Fortunately, money leaves a paper trail. With so many people involved, it will be easy to get people to squeal on one another. There will be a virtual treasure trove of evidence. Those who profited will see a cell or a noose.

A few "distant" liberal friends of my wife are oddly silent about this scandal, but continue to attack Trump for trivial and emotional things. One lady is shrieking about "Trump cutting funding for her child's education". We dug into it and found many half-truths. In typical liberal fashion, she's not telling the whole story and is profiting from government DEI funding both through her full-time university job and through her kid's school.

The other group that's been oddly silent are the conservative "never Trumpers".

My anger at the scandal is passed. It is replaced with a thirst for accountability, justice and revenge. Just months ago, we damn near lost our Country and I'm not exaggerating. It's great to see the turn-around. I just hope it lasts.
