    Has Anyone Voted Early?

Just checking, I always vote Election Day and my voting precinct is only a few blocks away at a high school.
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.

I believe the push to vote early is a scam so they can see what they'll have to doctor on election day. This bears out by the fact they can't count all the votes on election day, anymore, when they had no problem getting the counted on election day, in the past, with paper ballots.

If your life is so busy that you can't take 1 day every 4 years to go vote in person on election day, then you don't deserve to vote, anyway.

That is what I think. Although there is no way Harris will win Indiana
We have met the enemy and he is us.

Oregon is 100% vote by mail, and they don’t mail out the ballots until 20 days prior. Doesn’t matter anyway. We only have 6 delegates, and everyone knows they will go to Harris.

The Willamette valley to the Oregon coast control the politics of Oregon. I am afraid the ranked choice voting issue will pass and then we are tottaly DONE!

Just a thought, if you vote early, lets say for President Trump, then, Heaven forbid something happens to him, what then? Recent history has proven out that's not out of the realm of possibility.

Good question? Maybe Vance steps up? I like the guy he hates everything equally.

As soon as the RNC was over it officially became the Trump / Vance ticket. If Trump were to become unavailable or unalive then it falls to Vance.

my ballot hit the post office thursday. i used to prefer in person on election day but ever since 2016 when i was called out of town unexpectedly the day before and was unable to vote i decided that was never going to happen again. the polling places here have been off the hook with lines hundreds of feet and day one broke records. good news on the surface, i live in a county with twice the number of registered Republicans than democrats. bad news is that democrats seem to make twice the noise. one of the derelicts actually made Fox News for stealing Trump signs. he just happened to be the chairman of the county democrat party and running for state office. well, not now anyway.

I received an absentee mail in ballot I had not requested. I ran it through the paper shredder. I vote in person only.

Correct. Nobody is actually voting for Trump. They're voting for Trump and Vance.

Early voting started yesterday here in Nevada, and even though I prefer that there be no mail-in ballots and no early voting, it is what it is. So I waited in line about 45 minutes and voted. What prompted me to vote early? I lost to friends in two weeks. One was expected, the other not. I want it written down in the book of life that I voted for Trump again.

I wish mail-in voting and early voting weren't a thing. Voting isn't supposed to be easy. When they made voting easy, it got people who were normally too lazy to vote, to be able to vote. My mother loves early voting because this year, my parents will be on a cruise during election day. "How else would we be able to vote this year?" I asked her, "What is more important, your cruise or your vote?"

Anyway, most people's reason for voting early is "I don't want to wait in a long line on election day." Ironically, my parents went to early voting on the first day. They got there early because they got the opening time wrong. There were about twenty people in front of them. By the time the doors opened, the line was wrapped around the building. Mostly old people with walkers and such that "didn't want to wait in a long line." I hope that means on Nov. 5, I'll be in and out with minimal wait.

I always do early voting. I like to take my time thinking about some of the un-celebrated township and judge positions. I deliver my ballot directly to the Township Clerk. Nice lady. We chat, then I leave.
