I have a small Boston, he’s bit me several times when I startled him. Of course this is when he sleeps in my sons room and when I go in to wake him up.

She is a Lhasa Apso, the breed was developed by monks in Tibet to guard their monasteries, they are not friendly dogs, they won't let strangers touch them or pet them. We constantly have to alert people "Don't touch her". She's is 13 years old, diabetic, has to eat a special food, has to get two shots of insulin a day , doesn't see well and doesn't hear well anymore but boy she knows how to wake me up at 0500. Funny thing it was my daughter's dog "My brothers grew up with a dog, I want one too", well... daughter is now on her own and out of the house so guess who has the dog.

Renfield was solidly the wife’s dog. When we rescued him we were told he was a ladies man. He was very skittish right up until she killed herself. We grieved for her together and a dog knows who feeds and waters him.

I had to stop writing as he decided it was time for his morning attention. That’s were he jumps up on the arm of the recliner for some petting and back scratching. Once he content he lays his head on me to show his appreciation.

Dogs are a great companion. I'm at a point in life I don't need another one, running from one house to another and not really knowing how much time I have left, not feeling bad or anything but my heart fraction rate is still at 47%, normal is 50 to 70 so it's weak, dr doesn't want me to workout yet. I'm not leaving my wife stuck with a dog, she's not a pet person.
