You're correct. Affirmative action in college admissions was a disaster. It especially hurt the ones it was supposed to help. It allowed the Black kids access to all the high-level classes but they weren't able to pass.

US Army officer promotions have been centralized for decades. The Army won't talk about it, but we all know they're racially weighted.

I go to the Cadillac, MI VA. Perhaps it's the exception to the rule, but the staff there is super. No complaints. It's also 100% White (as far as I can tell), so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.
