Reports are that Susan Rice and John Bolton coached Zelinski, told him to play hardball, that Trump was ready to commit to ground support. They told him to not sign over the mineral rights. Basically filled his ego with fluff about how his position had more leverage than it did.

The military industrial complex does NOT want this war to end. They also don't care if it's America buying the weapons that get shipped into Ukraine, or if it's the European Union.
