I am convinced the queer POS Jochen Zeitz is hell-bent on destroying Harely Davidson. The new 2025 RR Roadglide will be selling for $110,000.00. He knows it will, be a flop just like the livewire. They are only building 131 of these, that is not enough to send one to each dealer. Their core customers have always been the blue collar crowd. The price of this bike is way beyond reach of most blue collar workers. Most of these bikes will end up in the living rooms, mancaves and garages of the rich for show only. The rest will be auctioned off at a premium because of their rarity. What could possibly be his motivation other than taking down an American icon. I have a fairly nice collection of Harleys and am already noticing values starting to slip.

The investment class and new business model use a new tactic its called marketing scarcity. They know that even a garbage product will sell like crazy if you create a buzz that "it is for sale for a limited time only and when they are gone there will be no more" (sound familiar?). Harley has not been blue collar in years. They boomers were responsible for the resurgent of the brand and they have big money and did spend big money on these bikes. Damn Harley was 50K and up in the 90s and early 2000s. That market is now gone and they are struggling to sell bikes. However, I will guarantee you these limited time only bikes will all be sold before they are built.

Harley sales did boom in the 90's and 2000's due to reality shows like American chopper and movies like Wild Hogs. It was a cool thing to do for RUBS (Rich Urban Bikers). However there were still plenty of bikes being sold to blue collar workers. Now that the TV blitz is over the RUBS are dissappearing. They need to go back to their roots and cater to the blue collar bikers. Build a quality affordable bike and they will sell. Their entry level bike is over $10,000.00 now. Jochen Zeitz does not have a clue what the american bikers want!
