What's the position of owners, moderators and members on getting more like-minded folks on this forum? Do you want to keep it cozy, or do you want it to grow? I've encountered some decent people on other forums who seem like they'd make a contribution here but wanted to see what you guys think first.

Johnny I have met and keep contact with a lot of really good like minded people through this great forum.. One has to be kind of thick skinned as these guys don't take any sheeet and will tell yah if your frigging up. Sometimes with a soft touch sometimes with a hammer depends on how bad of a screw up.. 😂😂
Some sharp guys here and I have to research what the hell their talking about at times. But I enjoy it as were not just expressing our opinions to each other but the many many many people who are just passing through the site. Post 'facts' no B.S. unless your making a funny and be able to back up what yah say. We all make mistakes and that is where the thick skin comes into play.
Keep in mind your being read by Dumbocrats those on the fence and fellow conservatives. I am long winded others are short and to the point. So keep posting buddy and you may just get one of those Dumbocrasts to see we are 100% conservative love our country and we just want to MAGA..and have fun doing it. 👍 😉

My legs are giving out on me sometimes their o.k. sometimes it seems like their dead weight and I am carrying them they are not carrying me. Man it sucks getting old. Wish I was in better health I would love to travel in a small camper motor home whatever and visit all the members around the country.
I have shot God knows how many rounds full auto compliments of Uncle Sugar his dime but hit Texas and try boons BBQ and see his weapons. Then off to my buddy 44044 and sit and talk with him. Fish with Pogo see Angry White Trash and all the members in that A.O... Then hit N.Y. give Merc a chance to win back the DDB arm wrestling champion title. Try his island girls island cooking out. 😉
Couple of chicks in town are part time hookers I have to see if they have a drivers license? My wheels are grinding my body says are you frigging nuts??

You, I and a few others are "dual members". I'm not proposing opening up the floodgates, because you're correct. Most members of other gun boards wouldn't fit in well here. Cherry picking just a select few is my suggestion. I'd estimate that perhaps 10% of any random gun board might do well here.

In a similar vein... I'm a member of a drummer's forum. There's a strict "no politics" policy, but when people break the rules, it's almost always far Left people doing it. I'd say that about 75% of the members are leftists, and many of them extreme. Why do I post there? Because where else can a nerd like me discuss the finer points of 1.6mm hoops vs. 2.3mm vs. cast aluminum. Think I'm joking?

Why do I stay there? There are lots of pro drummers as well as hobbyists like me. I've actually gotten to know some of the "famous" pro drummers. Most are down-to-earth people who will answer questions from beginners. They're really no different than the rest of us. Same headaches. Same challenges.
