I was looking at statistics on men who had my kind of surgery at my age and that's about all I get, maybe 10-15 years,I expect to be gone in ten, father and both grandfathers were gone by 80 so let me enjoy whatever time I got left. My ashes are to be kept in Sanibel Island, dig a hole in the sand by the ocean and drop me there.Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.Comment

These little birds head models are neat, wonder how it would work with small hands?
Edit: I see you already picked one up, nice.Last edited by Stoned_Oli; 05-21-2025, 12:33 PM.Comment

Just got home from Florida. You all got it made - I stopped at one place for gas that also sold alcohol, tobacco, and firearms. It was over on the West side kind of in the back country. I was all over the place - down the West side, then cut over from Everglades City up through the middle of the Everglades and Hwy 27 (or 21?) where I ran into some strangeness on the deserted highway with a couple pickups trying to box me in. On up to Okechobee and a sunset town for lunch, after driving through the ghetto portion where the farm workers lived.
You all have a nice state with very nice people who look normal - not nearly as bad of an obesity problem as New Mexico. Every melanin enhanced individual I interacted was courteous and friendly. Except the ones working in the hotel in Pensacola - they still have a hold on my credit card for $25 more than my charges were. Seems kind of fishy, and it isn't the mahi-mahi.
Only thing is, I had to drop off my daughter's 70's Single Six for her. They were talking about using it with .22 shot shells to get rid of cane toads.Comment

Hwy 27, the old Okeechobe Road, still named like that in Miami, petty much a truck route. There is an invasion of poisonous frogs in west coasts of Florida that may be what she was talking about. I'm at the island now, had to put a BBQ grill together, getting ready for July 4th, it's a big day here and I have people coming.Just got home from Florida. It's going to be really interesting to see how much money I racked up in tolls, if the cameras were able to photograph my license plate mounted under my spare tire. When you don't live around toll roads and bridges, it's easy to take wrong turns and wind up having to pay. I don't mind it, but I wish there had been a cash option like I hit on a couple of them.

Florida did away with cash options at most places. Tools are high down here. I use a Leeway transponder from Lee county that gives me a 30% discount at the Sanibel Toll Plaza, that one is $6.00, plus $3.50 for Alligator Alley (I-75 across state) and about $4 for the Turnpike between Miami and the Alley, it's expensive, but the Leeway works down here too..Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.Comment
