    Gotta Love Artificial Intelligence.

My oldest boy who has a genius IQ and is n charge of technology for the third largest school system in the country (ours) is a believer of AI and what it can do now and in the future, so much that he is gearing some school of choice Magnet Schools toward learning AI in cooperation with Google and they have a big thing going on statewide. He's been all over the news lately, but that's a whole other story, so I decided to give a try.

I just got a call from my doctor, my blood work is in and he is concerned about an inflammation marker and a couple other things so I logged into the lab and got my lab report along with the one done back in November and compared them, yes, my eosinophils count is high (whatever that is) but lower than before, it turns out it is an inflammation marker, so I decided to let Gemini be my doctor:

"Gemini, patient is 70 year old male just underwent Aortic valve replacement and Aortic bypass nine months ago, what could show wrong in a blood analysis?

Well, I got three pages of everything that could show wrong, including what he is concerned about. Next doctor visit is going to be fun.
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.

I like AI. Started using Grok after using Chatgpt and I like it much better. If I need to research an issue for work I can do hours of research in 3 min. I always check the results but it is a big time saver. Unfortunately it will make us dumber if that's possible but in the right hands it is great.

A Beauty Contest Was Judged by AI and the Robots Didn’t Like Dark Skin

The Guardian, 9/8/2016 Beauty.AI developed a set of algorithms to judge photos according to five factors in human standards of beauty; it disproportionately chose photos of white people. The article discusses the potential consequences of emergent bias in algorithms and/or datasets in general, including more consequential examples like predictive policing.

It will make us dumber, but it's great for research and creating reports. Try Gemini. My son has been part of and compensated very well to be part of a Google think tank to make Google's Gemini work for students.. Just for fun, I got Gemini to talk to me and correct my Italian when I spoke back, it's a great teaching tool.

I need a localized AI that I can use to produce form documents. I know that they will do this now but you have to upload the docs and it goes on a server. Do you know if Gemini can do this?

I know my son uses Gemini for a lot of reporting but as far as form docs, I don't know if it does that. The way AI works it scans the internet all over for specific data you request or uses the one you supply, but I don't know if it lets you upload a form to be used later. I'll be seeing my son this weekend at the island, we're all going there, I'll ask him.

Yes it can do it but I will have to upload to a public server which I cannot do. There is a way of running secure virtual local AI. It still communicates with the web but the docs are not uploaded. There is a basic AI in apple now and Microcrap but it is not sophisticated enough. I think I have to code using Python but I do not know how to do that. Grok or x-ai told me how to do it but it is above my tech skills. If this works I can do away with 99% of my secretarial services.

asking questions is as far as I go with AI. I'll ask him to see if he knows of something, if he knows, I'll see to get him on the phone with you sometime.

I can use AI for my work in order to summarize the existing state of affairs of a field.

But my actual work must be generated by my own fingers on the keyboard.

My son has been working with Google in getting it to work for schools, he is part of the state's Task Force on AI education, they have been teaching teachers for almost a year, next school year over 100K kids will be taking courses and using it. Google had to put limitations on it so high school kids don't get porno, or be able to cheat on homework but will help them out with homework questions as if it was a teacher.

Congress hates AI. It can summarize 1,500+ page bills in a few minutes instead of taking hours upon hours to read them.

He said he's done it with Outlook?.....I don't know anything about it that and when I asked again he sort of turned me off...typical genius, they have too much in their brain to bother with little people.

If the below is true, AI is gonna be interesting in the future.
