Although we have tornadoes down here in Fla. I personally have never seen one. Not sure what scares me more tornadoes or hurricanes? While both are bad at least one can get time to prepare with a hurricane not so with a tornado?

Glad everyone is safe, it's the time of the year when fronts are still moving in but it's already warming up, when hot and cold air masses crash shit happens. 4TH we had one here in 1998 that touch down at Opa Locka's airport in the north side of town, it was bad, many airplanes got damaged, mine survived but 300 feet on the same area a couple went airborne and were totaled.
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.

I remember that. Yes sir that place all got torn up bad down that way. Orlando had one pretty good sized and they gave an order to seek safety. Bunch of guys headed straight to a bar. Authorities told them to get out the place is not safe. Yup every damn thing around it had damage the bar never spilled a drink. That made the news.. 😁

              Woah!
I guess I'll just be content with a little dust and a few sticks in the yard to clean up

A supercell that spawned multiple tornadoes began on Friday afternoon in Missouri and ended Saturday morning in Kentucky. The tornadoes turned deadly, killing at least 20 people across Missouri and Kentucky.
A tornado outbreak swept across the Ohio Valley Friday night leaving more than two dozen dead and rescue crews frantically searching neighborhoods left in ruins for any other survivors.

Damn very sorry to hear of the loss of life may they R.I.P...
Hurricane Andrew some few years back down aviators way Miami A.O.. Whole neighborhoods gone like leveled down to the foundation. Hell some even the concrete slab foundations went. But the hurricane people could not figure how a few houses were untouched in a destroyed neighborhood. Hell even some windows remained.
Later they got it figured out their was hundreds of tornadoes right in the hurricane. Take a house not touch the one next-door. Cat 5+ lot of destruction and learning went on with that bad boy..

Don't remind me. At one time I felt fear. Threw a couple mattresses on the hallway had the wife and boys lay in the middle while I ran around collecting buckets of water that were coming in from the ceiling, it started at 3 am, ended by 7:30 am, open my front door, my light fixture in the front porch was gone, my tree n the front was gone, the large oak tree across the street lost a massive limb blocking the street, nine blocks from me on a major road, a furniture delivery truck was upside down, alll signs were gone, traffic lights gone, no power no gas for two weeks. Now the state passed a law to make gas stations have a generator. It was hell for a while.

Remember when that nigger was blaming hurricanes, tornados and earthquakes on "the weather machine"... that first Bush #2, then Tump has/have "in the basement of the whitehouse," What was that black assholes name? I can't remember.

Oh yeah...AND... PDJT was using the machine to kill negros only.

Yeah, with hurricanes, you get a lot more heads up to prepare or evacuate. But a hurricane's destruction is more widespread. A tornado could come through and destroy your next neighbor's house while your house doesn't get a scratch. And there's typically no flooding associated with a tornado. Hurricanes also last longer than tornados. Both would suck, but if I had to pick one to be in, I think I'd go with tornado.

No one killed in my area. A few homes lost their roofs and a barn flattened.

Southern Indiana was hit a lot harder
