Traveling certainly opens up your eyes to how the rest of the world looks & lives. I think every vacation I've ever taken has been a great learning experience & fun. Never been to any 3rd-World countries and have no plans to do so.

Don't. I've been to Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Bahamas. Bahamas I rented an ocean front home in Eleuthera, one of the outer islands, now it's more populated, when we went there was one traffic light, one liquor store and two grocery stores with limited supplies. I was told ahead of time and carried plenty of food, it was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen, everything else sucked. Puerto Rico is a relatively pretty place with a large rain forest and the mountains, some decent beaches and some places are OK, others are just garbage but the good places are interesting dating back hundreds of years. Dominican Republic, the Italian and Spanish owned resorts are decent, just don't step outside, it's a pretty filthy place and never drink tap water or you'll die.

After 70 every day is a gift, use it wisely. Some relatives didn't make it to 70, one cousin had pancreatic cancer, two had heart attacks. I'm glad my ticker sent me a notification first. My mother on the other hand smoked a pack a day and ate whatever she wanted until 90.

Have not been there but by what you say, it's the same crap as DR and PR. PR is a bit better, them lazy asses get our money. I've said this before, I'm walking down a park in San Juan and here comes this long hair, long beard short guy with a megaphone in one hand and a puerto rican flag on the other yelling "We want independence, no more Americans...blah, blaah..." so we crossed paths and I say to him "So what are you going to eat when we take our dollars away"...he stood there for a minute thinking..."We'll eat plantains and bananas". people started laughing at him.

Well, I hadn't been to a doctor until I got a chest pain cutting down a tree at the house I got for my daughter, she was there and caught me "What's wrong dad? JUst a minor chest pain...no, no no, let's get you to the dr. It all went downhill from there, Cardiologist did an echo-cardiogram and my Aortic valve was opening only about 45%, so a couple weeks later they put a catheter up my groin to see if they could get to it but the Aortic artery was clogged, two more weeks and they cracked my chest open, gave me a cow valve, did a bypass with an artery from my left leg and installed a "Watchman" to prevent clogs from forming, it's like a small filter they put inside the heart. So now I see two different doctors every couple months and take a shitload of pills but I'm OK minus aches, pains, shortness of breath sometimes. Life is fun, isn't?

I used to get physicals while I was flying, once I stopped flying I ended the routine.

Like an Errors and Omissions policy? yes. and local board membership which is very expensive, plus two occupational licenses, one for the company and one for me as a broker plus the corporate fee, which it's a bit higher than at other states. Then you have CPA fees, Bank Fees. I'm tired of giving money away and the return is minimum . no one ever tried to sue me, I ran a tight ship and fired a few salespeople for not being ethical.
