I have not seen the 'spending bill' nor do I care to read it. But? From this article it appears PT is putting massive monies into getting the frigging ILLEGALS the hell out of our country. Plus lots and lots of $$ into our military and to much money according to Musk into veterans affairs among many other things. Do I like that? Well yes but others do not.
If their is only so much to go around I would say the bill would have to be fair not to much to one and shorting others needs. Musk worked hard on 'DOGE' and he barely put a dent their saying in govt. waste. I guess PT is putting $$ into his campaign promises and it is upsetting people. So I don't know what say you?????

I think Musk was looking for Fed money help with his failing electric cars that nobody wants? Thought I read his fortune just went down over a hundred billion $$ and I would venture a guess its related to the junk cars he is trying to sell?

Second - Elon is frustrated because all the work he did to try to get rid of waste, fraud, and abuse is being nullified in this "big beautiful bill".

Third - if he had hitched his wagon to the dems, he wouldn't have lost any money on his electric car company, and would have received even more grants from them. He sees the direction this country is headed with unsustainable debt and this bill adds even more to it. We all see it - except the politicians.

I could keep going down the list but it all comes out to the fact that Washington DC hates us and wants us all broke and dead.

I telll you what, my oldest son just bought a Kia EV-9 electric car, some top of the line SUV, that contraption is amazing and does things Teslas don't do. It's like you are sitting in the cockpit of a 787. he can even pull it out of a tight parking spot with his phone 007 style before he gets in the car. and yes like most fancy new cars it drives by itself. And KIA is a prettier car. 350 mile range, which is better than the Tesla.
