Oh their still around but very few in numbers. Late 90 yrs. young and the ones I do see are in better shape than me. 😃

Great story from last years D Day reunion. Brittan a WWII Army vet in a nursing home was told he could NOT go to the reunion he was to old and frail. He climbed out the window hitched a ride to the coast and caught a ride on a fishing trawler to the coast of France. Joining the celebration he made the national news when they found out what he had done and was treated like a royal guest.. 😄
