    94 degrees today

Usually we don't get our really hot weather until late July.
We have met the enemy and he is us.

Were mid to upper 80's and with the humidity it's miserable. I'm going to Guam next month. Expecting miserable weather there too.

Nice, pleasure or business? That's a very, very long trip. Yeah, it's hot all over again.
Sometimes I wish I had a Harry Potter's wand and make people go up into smoke.

Going to visit my son. 22 hours travel time. It's a long haul for sure. On the plus side I have a 23 hour layover in Hawaii on the way back. Planning on seeing the Arizona memorial while there. It's also the last state I haven't been to, so it's a bucket list item I'll have completed.

The memorial was closed when I was there, some cracks on the concrete or something. you could spend two, three hours there. Rent a car and get on Kamehameha Hwy and head north, visit Giovanni's shrimp truck stop (if you like shrimp) you won't regret it. it's about one hour north of the harbor. My daughter was there for her honeymoon recently, they visited him again.

We'll have to check that out. My son might fly back with us as far as Hawaii. For him it's work related and would be great as he knows his way around Honolulu.

Anyone here in the northern 48? Dakotas, Wyoming, Montana, etc.? If so, how is the heat compared to the rest of us. That's the region I'd like to relocate to.

In the mid 90's here in N Florida, being outside after 10:00 is uncomfortable. On top of all that, my 14 year old A/C blew a gasket, dumped the freon & burned up the compressor. I'll bet it won't do that again.

Anyway, a trip to Home Depot got me a new A/C with heat which I installed in a day, only to find that after all that work, the fan shroud broke loose & jambed the fan blade up so that it won't run. What crappie luck. Now I get to do it all over again.
