Leaving Wednesday morning coming back Sunday, some time, all kids, grandkids and niece, nephew. Even my next door neighbor here may drop by the island place. I should go ahead and buy all the plants I want and have everybody help me out before I turn the grill on. Work for food!

I have a freaking iguana as big as any gator that parades from one end of the yard to the other, every day. Sanibel is a wildlife sanctuary, otherwise I would have shot it already. I called my niece to see it the other day, it's got to be over six feet long. I still have a small dock that's open to the water and a six foot section with no fence at the other end for the landscape people to go through so the fence is just for looks.

Aviator I do not think iguana are protected and I understand Florida fish and game is trying to eradicate them. I bet you can shoot them all you want then make iguana tacos.

I shot a big one in Miami, sunning by my backyard pool, oh about 4 footer or so, this one in Sanibel is way larger. I'm afraid to kill it given the fact the island is a wildlife preserve, but they are not welcome in Florida. IMG_9075.jpg
