Air India plane crash suicide or terrorist act by the pilots..??

Air India pilots may have made fatal error before crash that killed more than 270 people, probe reveals

"A preliminary report for last month’s Air India crash that killed 241 people on board — with a sole survivor miraculously walking away — found that the plane’s engine fuel cutoff switch was flipped just three seconds after taking off.
"The Air India Flight 171 pilots may have been responsible for the devastating crash, as it is difficult, if not impossible, to accidentally flip the switch, The US Sun reported."

Air India pilots may have made fatal error before crash that killed more than 270 people, probe reveals

All news outlets reporting investigators found fuel cut off switches in the 'OFF' position.. Videos will show it is 100% impossible to hit the switches by accident and shut the fuel off it had to be done on purpose. The switches are protected by two metal bars that require reaching over pulling the fuel tabs lifting and then releasing them.
It happened fast did one pilot do it or both?? They were to low for an engine restart. A mayday was called in then silence.

"The cockpit voice recording captures one pilot asking the other why he "did the cut-off", to which the person replies that he didn't. The recording doesn't clarify who said what. At the time of take-off, the co-pilot was flying the aircraft while the captain was monitoring."

I don't know, if you know a crash is imminent you shut fuel off to prevent a larger fire.

Terrorists make their actions known, otherwise there is no political element to the act. This looks like either one of them had a bad case of shit for brains or one of them decided to kill himself.

Aviator is right. In the Pilots Operator Handbook it says to shut off the fuel if an off airport landing is suspected or in the event of fire. If they wanted to commit suicide all the pilot had to do was push the nose over and boom. The media and talking heads do not understand aviation and always get it wrong.

It would have been a bigger Boom with fuel on. My father once said this, "if people would only talk abut matters they really know about a deafening silence would descend upon earth"
