I would hunt iguanas with a slingshot and small round river rocks. I became proficient with a SS as a kid in southern Georgia at my G-parent's place while visiting and competing with my cousins there.

people swim in the ocean down here, it may sound strange to you ice folks but that's what we do and having dead creatures in the water is not something we like.

Perhaps I can suggest sky burial. Thrown the dead iguanas onto the roof of the house so that seagulls can eat them.
