It's a '51 Farmall M, so yes, an IH. I have had it going on 25 years and it's not ever failed me.

Keep clean oil in them and a valve job every 20 years or so and they will run forever.

I do keep the oil changed and I have no idea when the last valve job was done. I have been using 91 octane no alcohol gas in it, so that helps extend valve life in these low compression engines.
