Just noticed that Ruger has resurrected the Glenfield rifle product line.

That's a long dead firearm brand. Probably came with the Marlin acquisition, as Marlin had been making Glenfields for quite a while. My first firearm was a Glenfield single shot .22 rifle my Dad bought for me at Western Auto when I was 4 yrs. old. It's what I learned how to shoot with. Thousands and thousands of rounds later, my grandson will learn on that rifle, as well.

Never heard of Glenfield. I really need to get out more. I checked it out and the rifles appear a little more advanced than my Ruger American .308. It comes standard with a threaded barrel and grippy furniture. MSRP is reasonable at $500.
