Israeli soldiers have killed dozens of Palestinians and seriously injured many others using Ruger firearms in incidents considered riots, not warfare.

Ruger rifles for crowd control is prevalent and backed by police and military policy. Moreover, the fact that the Ruger is a potentially deadly weapon is not instilled in soldiers and police officers,

So Israel did not want to outright kill ILLEGALS sneaking across their border so they issued troops Ruger 10/22s to just wound them. Whoops hitting border jumpers out to 400 yards they were not just wounding it was killing them. Hmm maybe try pellet guns next??

I just read an article about a L.R.R.P. team in Nam where one of the troop carried a suppressed .22. Those bad boys would play tag with the NVA following each other around out in the jungle. One troop would hang back and pop the point in the head with his .22 then catch up with his team. That kind of slowed the NVA following them down for awhile.
Guy in my platoon became a LRRP I spoke with him down at the Melbourne reunion he used a tomahawk. Both quiet weapons accomplished the same results..

One time at Ft. Carson, I got sent out to scout an OP for the company. I found a great spot in among some brush. During the night, the OPFOR company came sneaking by, right past my position.
