    Any Mosin Nagant Guys Here?

I have a couple M44s. I have a few old stripper clips and I recently bought some new ones. I've watched every you tube video and still they won't load. WTF is the secret?

My old buddy Ralph who has been buying AR15 of late was putting the first one I took him into the safe when he started bitching about his Mossy N1qqer. He told me to take it and the ammo. I told him I didn't want it & would sell it for him. A friend of mine works in a gun shop & I asked him if he knew anyone? After a bunch of picture he had a friend that offered $750.00 for it, before we could do the deal his house & shop burned to the ground. A total loss were he & the family with the pets made it out safely.

The wife nephew was over & we cleaned it up. He said he was interest. To use one of old Ralph's sayings "I'm like a n1qqer I'll buy it when I get my money right."

I load my stripper clips with the bottom cartridge’s rim all the way to the back so that from the side they present this slope /

Each rim in front of the one under it making a distinct up and down orientation. Top cartridge sticking furthest forward being correct.

I have never had rim lock doing so. It requires more attention than rimless stripper clips.

I also loaded my Lee-Enfield stripper clips in that manner and had no issues. The LE strippers are made out of much stouter and slicker metal.

The wisdom of YouTube states the “proper” way to load the LE stripper is to stack them in such a way the third cartridge is proud of the other four. A ‘hill’ or ‘pyramid’ configuration. Somehow this works [so sayeth YT] it makes for a one way loading of both belts and rifles.

I have not seen anyone do this with a MN. The interruptor is supposed to overcome shit loading. I have an M38 and an M39 now. I previously had an M44 and an M91-30. I always loaded / style and never tested the interruptor. The M39’s interruptor is reputed to kick rim lock’s ass like it’s a redheaded shitbird that owes it money.

I saw a video where some Mosinologist gerrymandered his clip in such a way it flew out after he stripped the rounds and before he touched the bolt. Pen Gillette might be able to tell you how he did it if it was done without photographic fuckery.

The Mosin clips are clingy and downright shitty compared to the LE clips with their gun metal blue heavy gauge steel. Polishing the inside of the MN stripper clips with oily steel wool MIGHT help with their high school girlfriend clinginess. Probably breaking ‘er in with frequent and casual use might do the trick.

Just remember two things, / and it’s Russian its best is only so good and its worst isn’t much worse.

Addendum: Olga like all Russian women wants a virile man. Try not to cut your thumb jamming into Olga’s breech but treat every MN like a trailer park woman that called you for a hate fuck. Remember the wisdom of the German general on the use of enough force: Never poke [stick a finger in] when you should punch [where you should stick a fist].

Russian shit is what it is and the key word is the second. Don’t cut your thumb.

P.P.S. I also always pushed the cartridges down with the pad of my thumb, palm facing the weapon.

None of that gripping the top cartridge from the front bullshit. What the fried fiddler’s fuck do these YT faggots think you have time to pick clips up by the top round and crane your arm around in some giant, “SHOOT ME!!” pose while you are a) under fire, b) most likely prone and c) not trying to imitate a fucking chimp picking fleas off another stank ass ape…or tundra munkey as it were? I hope you are not under fire but it is a combat weapon and persnickety futtbuckery in action will get you resettled in Hell.

Good stuff Blunt. I will try your staggered loading. Thanks for a morning chuckle with my coffee. Cheers.

Nope. These clips blow dead goats. Total fukn junk. Thankfully I have proper magazine fed rifles should the need arise.

I tested both my remaining MN’s Stripper Fu. From the Ripley’s Believe it or Don’t department the M39 loaded slicker than a low rent Lothario scamming a single mother of six. The M38 went as smooth as twenty pounds of dirt in a gas tank.

The M38 was war time production and the bolt is as smooth as the clip action. The M91-30 was pre-war and a beautiful example of what it was and smooth as any Russian thing ever is. I miss it and I miss my SMLE. I don’t miss my M1 or M1 Carbine for reasons most likely particular to those examples. My M44 was 1953 Hungarian and a dream compared to the M38. The M39 is post war by the joints in the stock.

Iraqveteran 8888 has a video about slicking up the bolt if that interests you.

My SCs are solid at the tops. Not the same kind as the guy’s in the ejecting video. I did not get mine to spontaneously deport themselves from the feed lips in either example.

if you know anyone with a Finnish MN and you are curious and they are willing, try loading theirs with the clips. Finnish MNs are Lincolns to the Russian MNs Pintos.

                  Here’s the clip ejection vid.

I was guano let it go but then I saw this:

If that jackoff can make ‘em fly so can I. So I dropped the bolt out of the Siberian midget and got to stuffing.

The fucknard is right, it does have a midloaf crises at the fourth round.

To loosen a tight clip I twisted the top two counter to the bottom two and that loosened the virginal death grip on the cases.

So as not to chickenwing the elbow out and entice nazi, moslem or jap snipers I kept my elbow tucked in and made like I was in a Wheetus video and made an L with my thumb and forefinger reaching under the bullet to raise the nose of the cartridge keeping the palm toward the weapon. Fulfilling the dual purpose of presenting as small a target as possible and looking neither gay nor retarded like the idiots that have their rifles pointed behind them or their arm out at a ninety degree angle above their heads while seeking that sweet, sweet ass down orientation of the top cartridge.

Out of eight tries I got one flier. Having the weapon level or nose up is essential lest the bolt interfere (which I had removed because I remember gravity exists). The action of the top round jumping back up slightly seems to be the acting force. I could be wrong but i’ve always been mistaken whenever I thought so.

The Finnish action is practically a Krag-Jorgensen compared to the turd from Tula.

For some reason I've never really gotten the hang of using stripper clips in any of my old wood & steel guns. I have no problem with just loading them by hand, like I've always done. I guess if you have thousands of screaming gooks coming at you it might be a drawback but then again you would want an MG with a lot of ammo in that scenario.

Decided to test rimlock (was thinking about ripping off Bob Villa here and go into a, “To test rimlock I…” horseshit here but I can’t remember if he used to say First I did some shit or just went into the shit he did. Glad I saved all that time).

Slowly I turned and seized the M39 and stuffed Lotta’s nethers with an inverted clip. No rimlock with every rim behind the one under it.

Then I got the starry suka M38 and loaded Olga inch by-I mean round by round the wrong way. No rimlock.

Slavic chicks just love being loaded the wrong way no matter how much of a fight they put up getting ready to have the bolt rammed home.

FWIW The hexagonal receivers on the Imperial manufactured Mosins were meticulously inspected and kept to a high standard (a giant bottleneck in their production). In the United States there were Czarist inspectors swarming the production line and crawling up everybody’s ass. This M39 has a hex receiver.

The end product may have been shit but it was ‘good’ shit.

Communism being a degraded state is a tale told in steel by the Mosins.

I have just initialed Project Shoot My Shit Up, Fuck My Heirs or Jihad Against My Shoulder final naming pending. The first phase is to shoot up a large quantity of mystery FMJ 7.62x54mm through my two remaining Mosins before the Twatpocalypse, I go senile, become homeless or enfeebled or unlike the Weeble Wobbles just f’n fall down.

I’m using the stripper clips and the M39 right now and had two revelations jump out and flash me like revelations are wont to do.

One while trying to load the first round from one mag said first round got recalcitrant guess she doesn’t like the taste or some such 🐂 💩
Instead off wrestling with Stubby McGee the micro-penis bolt handle I smacked Lotta’s bolt right in that big beautiful round cocking piece she had hanging out there waiting for a tapping and it flowed into battery like shit from an HOA Karen’s mouth.

Two when I was loading the strippers for tomorrow’s shoulder jihad I loaded one staggered like the Enfield clips and it led to goofy gaps that would make loading the standard four to a pouch in the Soviet/Russian pouches impossible. Even if the / orientation isn’t neccesary tor loading the rifle it is necessary for loading the clips into original Eastern Bloc pouches.
