Gun manufactures jumping on .45, 9 mm, 5.56 and a few other cal. carbines.

Seems as though if one company comes out with something a bit different in a weapon all of them start making their version. I am looking into a carbine in .45 cal... boon showed me a nice one but I have my eyes on a CMMG Dissent in .45.. Plus this Grand Power Striborg SP 45apc.

Grand Power Stribog SP45A3 45ACP Carbine Pistol
    Grand Power Stribog SP45A3 45ACP Carbine Pistol - No Brace - 8"

    DISSENT Pistols
Dissent | CMMG - AR 15 and AR 10 Builds and Parts

The Dissent has a buffer less action with a very slight bolt delay which they say cuts way down on recoil?? Very few fun shops have them in stock so you almost have to go by reviews...

The Ruger PC carbine in 9mm is a lot of fun, except ammo gets expensive for it (because you shoot so much).

I wouldn't mind getting one in .45 ACP. The CMMG is a little too rich for my wallet.

No it was the 'Texas' something?? This one looks interesting though but it does not appear to have a threaded barrel?

I'm now clue less. It must have been something that I wasn't that interested in.
