$1,900 gets you one. Seems like big bucks but I guess not in todays inflation world. I imagine a lot of work goes into getting them out for all to enjoy and collect.
Short time ago I grabbed an M-1 'expert' they have it classified as. Not real familiar with them but it looks like brand new with a beautiful case. Stock new old ????? but just beautiful and mint condition. Barrel? I don't understand their grading but it says it is dead on good.
We talked about these before but it is unfired and sitting in the safe..

ADD: Not sure if this one is what their talking about in the vid.????

A few years back my son picked a CMP expert grade Garand with all the documentation, paperwork and hard case on a local FTF deal, he paid 1200. It's really nice, Criteron match grade barrel and beautiful wood.
the guy had picked up 5 Garands and his wife wanted him to thin the herd.

My Garand is the most natural pointing rifle I own. It just comes right up to the shoulder like it was an extension of myself. Nothing else comes close except for maybe the M14, but the 20 rd. mag makes it feel not as balanced as the Garand.
